Rebuilding Damaged and Missing Teeth
A crown caps and protects a tooth that is broken, worn or root-treated. A bridge closes a gap by anchoring a replacement tooth to the teeth on either side. Both are made to match your natural teeth.

Crown & Bridge FAQs
If your question is not here, call us on +91 98402 03173 and we will answer it.
What is the difference between a crown and a bridge?
A crown caps a single damaged tooth. A bridge replaces a missing tooth by joining to the teeth on either side of the gap, so it spans across.
Will it look like a real tooth?
Modern ceramic and zirconia crowns are shade-matched to your surrounding teeth. In most cases it is difficult to tell which tooth has been restored.
How long does it take?
It is usually a staged treatment: the tooth is prepared at one visit and the finished crown fitted at another, with a temporary in between. We give you the timeline at the assessment.
How do I look after a crown or bridge?
Brush normally and clean carefully around the edges and under a bridge — that is where problems start. Regular check-ups let us spot any issue early.
Can I eat normally with a bridge?
Once it is fitted and settled, yes. There is usually a short adjustment period while you get used to it, and we check the bite before you leave.
Is a bridge better than an implant?
Neither is automatically better — it depends on the bone available, the health of the neighbouring teeth and your circumstances. We will talk you through both rather than push one.
